HOFFA Transportation
HOFFA Transportation is a grant funded program geared towards providing rides to those who are seeking treatment but do not have reliable transportation. The mission of HOFFA Transportation is to ensure that transportation is no longer a barrier for anyone in the State of Maryland who is trying to reach a treatment facility. In the State fiscal year of 2024 HOFFA Transportation provided 1,600 total rides totaling 67,873.04 miles.

Trailblazer
The Trailblazer offers six fixed routes, operating on a set schedule to connect Westminster, Taneytown and North Carroll without an appointment.

Demand Response
Demand Response offers transportation for Dialysis, Radiation, Day Programs, employment, routine Doctor’s appointments and education. Pick-up and drop-off locations must be within Carroll County.

You can receive free transportation to non-emergency medical appointments if you qualify. To qualitfy you must live in Carroll County, have Medical Assistance, and no other means of transportation.
